These terms are the agreement between you and Kavi Gandham ("we", "us") for the SceneFind iPhone app. By downloading or using SceneFind you accept them.
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use SceneFind on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, sell, rent, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the app except where that restriction is prohibited by law.
SceneFind returns a best-effort identification of the title, and where the evidence supports it, a season, episode, timestamp, and links to services that publish the title. Identification is probabilistic. We do not warrant that any result is accurate, complete, or current, and you should not rely on a result where accuracy matters.
Watch links point to third-party services. We do not control those services, their catalogues, their regional availability, or their pricing, and a link being shown is not a promise that the title is playable on your account or in your region.
You may submit only content you have the right to submit. You must not use SceneFind to:
SceneFind identifies content you already have access to. It does not download, host, decrypt, or stream copyrighted media.
SceneFind includes a free allowance and four paid plans. An "identification" is counted only when the app successfully returns a result; failed or cancelled requests do not consume your allowance.

Auto-renewing subscriptions. All four plans are auto-renewing subscriptions billed to your Apple Account. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends, and your Apple Account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends. Prices are in US dollars and may vary by storefront.
Managing and cancelling. Manage or cancel a subscription in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the current period. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Yearly plans. Starter Yearly and Pro Yearly are billed once a year and release their monthly allowance at the start of each UTC calendar month. Allowances never roll over: an unused month does not carry into the next one.
Lifetime. Lifetime is no longer sold. If you bought it before it was retired, it continues to grant 10 successful identifications per UTC calendar month for as long as SceneFind is offered.
Refunds. Purchases are handled by Apple; refund requests are made to Apple and are governed by Apple's Media Services Terms. We cannot issue App Store refunds directly.
SceneFind depends on third-party AI providers and public indexes and may be unavailable, degraded, or changed at any time. We may modify or discontinue features, and we may change plan pricing or allowances prospectively — a change to an active subscription's price takes effect only on renewal and only after the notice Apple requires.
You keep all rights in the content you submit. You grant us only the licence needed to process that content in order to return your result, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not claim ownership of your content and do not use it to train models.
SceneFind is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to SceneFind is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or $50. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply to you only as far as the law permits.
We may suspend or terminate access that breaches these terms or that threatens the security or integrity of the service. You may stop using SceneFind at any time by deleting it.
Apple is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to provide support for SceneFind. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them against you. Any claim that the app fails to conform to a warranty may be directed to Apple for a refund of the purchase price; beyond that, Apple has no warranty obligation.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any competent court. Nothing here removes consumer rights that cannot be waived under the law where you live.
