When reporting a problem, it helps enormously to include: your iOS version, the app version from Settings → About, what you shared (the platform, not the clip itself), and what you expected instead.
You can also open SceneFind directly and paste a link, import a video from your library, or type a line of dialogue you remember.
SceneFind deliberately declines to guess. It reports a title only when the evidence supports it, and it adds a season, episode, or timestamp only when those can be independently confirmed. Very short clips, heavily edited compilations, clips with no dialogue, and content that isn't film or television are the usual causes. A failed identification does not use up your allowance.
That is by design: a title can be confirmed when an episode cannot. Rather than show a plausible-looking guess, SceneFind omits the field.
Links are only shown after the destination page has been checked for the same title and episode, and links from other countries' storefronts are dropped. Catalogues change constantly — a title available last month may have moved services. A link being shown is not a guarantee the title is playable on your particular account or region.
You are charged an identification only when one succeeds. Failures, cancellations, and repeated requests for the same clip do not count.

Open Settings → Restore Purchases. Your plan is tied to your Apple Account, and all of your devices share one allowance rather than each receiving a separate one.
On your device, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions, choose SceneFind, and cancel. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
They are processed to produce your result and the session record is erased 15 minutes afterwards. Clips, URLs, and transcripts are kept out of logs. The Privacy Policy sets out the detail.
No. It identifies content you already have access to and links to the services that publish it. It does not download, decrypt, or bypass any platform's access controls.
