Tween Support

Tween finds the fair place to meet, inside iMessage. Here’s how to use it, and how to reach a human.

Getting started

  1. Open any conversation in Messages.
  2. Tap the + beside the text box, then choose Tween.
  3. Tap I’m in to share where you are.
  4. When your friend does the same, Tween ranks nearby places by both people’s real travel time.
  5. Pick one to send it. Your friend can agree in one tap, or counter with somewhere else.

Your friend does not need the app installed to see the spot, the map, and everyone’s travel time.

Common questions

Nothing happens when I tap “I’m in”

Tween needs location access to rank places. Check Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services is on, and that Tween is set to While Using the App. If Location Services is off system-wide, iOS shows a “Turn On?” prompt instead of Tween’s own.

I don’t see Tween in Messages

Tap the + beside the text box, then More, and check Tween is enabled in the list.

No spots are showing up

Both people need to share a location before ranking can run, and the search needs a network connection. If you’ve set a maximum drive time in Settings, try raising it — distant places are filtered out.

How do I restore Tween Pro?

Open the Tween app → Settings → Tween Pro → Restore Purchases. Pro unlocks on every device signed into the same App Store account.

Is my location sent to a server?

No. Tween has no backend. Your location travels only inside the iMessage conversation you choose. See the privacy policy.
